Atlas International is a short-term travel medical insurance plan designed for U.S. citizens and foreign nationals traveling outside their home country, excluding the United States. It provides comprehensive coverage for medical emergencies, emergency medical evacuation, and other essential travel-related benefits. The plan is extendable and renewable up to 12 months (364 days) of coverage.

This plan is available to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals who are traveling outside their home country, excluding the United States. Coverage is available for individuals aged 14 days and older. Atlas International is not available to U.S. residents.

Atlas International offers the following coverage options:​ Policy Maximum: From $50,000 to $2,000,000, depending on the selected plan.​ Deductible Options: $0, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000 per certificate/renewal period.​ Coinsurance: For treatment received outside the PPO network, 20% coinsurance applies for the first $5,000 in eligible expenses beyond the chosen plan deductible. For eligible U.S. claims incurred inside the PPO network, the coinsurance amount is waived, and the plan pays 100% after the chosen plan deductible.

Yes, Atlas International covers medical expenses related to COVID-19 the same as any other illness, provided the illness occurs after the effective date of the policy. This includes testing, treatment, and quarantine benefits.

Atlas International offers coverage for the acute onset of pre-existing conditions up to the selected policy maximum for travelers under 80 years old. For travelers aged 80 and above, this benefit is not available.

In addition to standard medical coverage, Atlas International includes:​ Emergency Medical Evacuation: Up to $1,000,000 lifetime maximum.​ Repatriation of Remains: Up to elected overall maximum limit. Coverage can be purchased for a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of 364 days. The plan is renewable, allowing travelers to extend their coverage as needed

To file a claim, complete the Atlas International Claim Form and submit it along with supporting documents such as medical bills and receipts.
