Safe Travels USA Comprehensive is a comprehensive travel medical insurance plan designed for visitors to the USA. The plan provides coverage to non-US citizens who reside outside the USA and are traveling outside of their home country to visit solely the U.S., or U.S. and other countries worldwide. Coverage can be purchased for a minimum of 5 days up to 364 days. For ages 1 year to 89 years old. The plan offers policy maximums from $50,000 to $1,000,000 and a wide choice of deductibles ranging from $0 to $5,000. In the U.S. after the deductible is satisfied, the plan pays up to 100% of eligible medical expenses. The plan offers coverage for sudden and acute onset of pre-existing conditions for individuals below 70 years of age. The plan provides coverage for medical expenses, emergency medical and political evacuation, repatriation of remains, trip interruption, Lost baggage, and accidental death & dismemberment. It also offers a wellness visit benefit for a $125 Co-pay. The plan uses the First Health PPO network, a subsidiary of Aetna Insurance. The plan offers optional return to home country coverage, optional sports activity coverage, and AD&D optional benefit upgrade. Safe Travels USA Comprehensive Insurance covers COVID-19 treatment just like any other new medical condition that occurs after the effective date of the policy. The Safe Travels USA Comprehensive plan is available for any non-US citizen or resident, including green card holders, visiting the USA for a short period of time. It is not available for US citizens, or long-term visa holders who pay taxes in the USA.

You would need the names, dates of birth, passport numbers of the visitors, the visitor's home country address and a valid credit card to buy the plan.

You can print out your ID card from your confirmation e-mail and it will be used as proof of insurance. Nothing is sent to the mailing address in the home country.

Yes, if you buy the plan initially for more than 5 days, you can extend the policy. You would need to extend the plan at least two days before the policy expires.

Yes, you can cancel and get a refund for the Safe Travels USA Comprehensive Plan, if you need to go back earlier than planned. The following rules apply:

1) A written request is required for cancellation.
2) If you cancel the policy before the start date, you would get the full refund back.
3) After the policy start date, you can get the refund, only if you do not need to visit the doctor/provider while the policy is in force.
4) You can get the unused full month refund back
5) $25 cancellation fee applies.
6) If there is any claim on file, you would not get any refund back.
