No, Safe Travels USA – Cost Saver does not cover medical treatment for COVID-19 the same way as any other illness.

The plan provides coverage for the Unexpected recurrence of pre-existing conditions up to $1,000 for travelers under the age of 70. For travelers aged 70 and above, coverage for pre-existing conditions is not available.

Coverage can be purchased for a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of 364 days. If you purchase at least 5 days of coverage, you can extend your coverage up to the maximum duration.

To file a claim, complete the Claimant’s Statement and Authorization form and submit it along with required documents such as medical bills and receipts. Claims can be filed through the plan administrator’s online portal or by contacting customer service directly.
